The new Horácká Arena in Jihlava with a rooftop running track.

The new Horácká multifunctional arena accommodates up to 5,581 spectators for sporting events and up to 7,416 attendees for concerts. It comprises four buildings—two original and two newly constructed—connected by an underground tunnel.

On the ground floor of the main arena, you are welcomed by a transparent glass parterre that reaches down to the sidewalk level, allowing passers-by to see trainings, matches, and cultural events. This makes the interior a natural part of city life and visually draws people into the activity inside. It also links the complex with Smetana Park and the nearby university.

The corner building contains everything essential: a stylish beer hall, a sports store with a fan shop, a fitness center, a public gym, a hotel with 29 rooms, and access to a rooftop running track offering stunning city views.

A recreational zone has been created between the buildings, featuring generous “resting steps”—a tiered structure descending toward Tolstého Street—that serves as outdoor seating and an open-air auditorium.

Thanks to modern technologies and thoughtful design, the arena has become not only a sports venue but also a social and cultural hub for the Vysočina region. Construction was completed in October 2025.
