A new construction and renovation lifted the Skålen 24 project from an older industrial building to a modern property.

Skålen 24 is located next to Norra Tornen on Torsplan in Stockholm. The property was purchased by Invesco Real Estate and Scius. Arcona has rebuilt and renovated the property, which was previously an industrial building.

Now after the reconstruction, the property consists of attractive office premises and residences. The property also contains a conference center, parking, gym, bicycle garage, and restaurant/café. The roof will be equipped with solar cells.

During the renovation and extension, the property will increase by four floors. The house goes from a rentable area of 18,500 square meters to 24,000 square meters. In addition to the expansion of the floor plan, a new main entrance will be built with large glass sections. A large terrace and a light garden will be built on the roof, which extends down through all floors to the entrance floor. The facade is being replaced and given a modern industrial look.

Peikko's slim floor structure provided a flexible solution that is always tailored based on the customer's needs. 136 DELTABEAM® and over 60 collaboration players were delivered to the project. All beams were supplied with integrated fireproofing which allowed the specified fire class to be achieved.
