Peikko Delivers DELTABEAM® Frame Solution to a New Office Building in Helsinki

Peikko Group’s Finnish subsidiary Peikko Finland Oy has received a large order for the frame construction of an office building project in the center of Helsinki, Finland. The order comprises 3.7 kilometers of DELTABEAM® Composite Beams and 153 tons of Composite Columns and other steel structures used in the building’s frame. The deliveries are scheduled to start in October 2016 and the project is planned to be finished in the end of 2017.

The office building comprises 16.000 m2 spaces in seven floors providing new office and underground parking for 1.000 employees of the Nordic law firm Rochier. Owners of the building are Ahlström Capital, HGR Property Partners and YIT, who is also the general contractor of the project. Architectural design has been made by SARC. SBS Betoni Oy, Parma and Alistron AS are responsible for manufacturing precast elements of the project.
